maisie waite
paralegal
Maisie Waite is a paralegal at Barton Family Lawyers and is currently undertaking studies in a Bachelor of Laws at the Queensland University of Technology.
Maisie’s passion for the law began in high school, where she was heavily involved in mooting competitions across Universities in Brisbane. These experiences required her to problem-solve complex legal scenarios, where she learned the importance of leaving no stone unturned in order to thoroughly advocate for clients. She often translates this into the heart of her role at Barton Family Lawyers, using problem-solving to disarm perpetrators of narcissistic abuse from their tactics in legal proceedings.
APPROACH
Seeking legal advice is daunting, especially following the breakdown of a relationship.
Maisie’s role is to make this transition a little bit less scary for you so that you can focus on rebuilding your new life.
She is methodical in her preparation and takes pride in ensuring that you feel heard and supported, every step of the way.
Maisie’s approach is simple and guided by the following three principles:
- Clear communication – She won’t overwhelm you with legal jargon to ensure that you feel confident knowing exactly what is going on.
- Compassion – Her holistic approach means that she recognises the importance of your wellbeing throughout legal proceedings
- Confidence – Her positive belief that you will achieve your best practical outcome will give you peace of mind in trusting your team of legal experts.
